Depending on what you need, the fastest way to get an answer to a question or arrange for some help is to drop a line to email@example.com. If you are in the Foundry building 67, you can also poke your head into room 3205, the current residence of the onsite IT representatives, Perry Lao and Bryan Taylor, Windows/Desktop (x2702) and Karen Fernsler, UNIX/Servers (x4815, or try IMing fernslerlbl). Sending mail to firstname.lastname@example.org will also always CC: Charlie Verboom and Gary Jung who head the Windows and UNIX support groups respectively.
Additionally, there are the familiar IT support pages that provide the links for downloading software, requesting different phone services, and obtaining network information. Nano-support can help you with requests to any of these IT services. If you don't want to send email to nano-support, you can always open a Help Desk request directly at http://help.lbl.gov or by calling the Help Desk at x4357.
